All Natural Pain Relief - 10 Ways To Relieve Muscle Pain
#1 - Sweat It Out
Don't underestimate the power of blood flow. If you're sore or tight after yesterday's workout, my first piece of advice will always be to put on a pair of warm sweatpants and a hoodie, and do some cardio until you're soaking wet.
Get blood to the muscles and breathe! Yes it'll suck for the first 15-20 minutes but once you get warm it'll feel great. Once you get oxygen to your muscles they'll heal faster.
#2 - Stay Hydrated
Your muscles need water to recover! Drink Gatorade and water, and avoid diuretics like coffee and tea. Keep your muscles healthy!

#3 - Potassium

#4 - Take a Hot Bath with EO
And when I say hot, I mean as hot as you can handle.-Get in the tub while it's still filling up and turn it up as high as you can stand. I recommend covering the drain so you can fill the tub higher.
-Put peppermint oil in the bath so your skin stays feeling cool. This will allow you to stay in the bath longer, because you won't feel overheated.
-Make sure you don't stay in too long, because you can get heat sick. You can also put Rosemary oil in the bath, and that also helps with muscle cramps!
-When you're done, drink a full glass (8-16 oz) of water and put on some warm PJ pants and sweat shirt, and go to bed. Keep your muscles warm by sleeping in the warm PJs.
#5 - Get a Massage
Get on Groupon and find a good deal, and get yourself a massage. Never underestimate the power of good ol' hands-on massage.
#6 - TENS unit
Do you have a muscle that just won't release? It's too hard to massage out, and no stretch can target it? a TENS unit shoots little electrical shocks into the muscle to stimulate it, and then allow it to release naturally. I did a write-up on a very inexpensive one here!
#7 - Don't Underestimate the Power of Visualization
It is hard, but if you really focus on what your body is doing, you can release muscle cramps with your mind.- Understand why they're cramped up, and what you did to make them sore.
- Understand and visualize which muscle is sore and what position it is currently in
-Visualize the muscle releasing back to the shape and position you want it to sit in.
Visualization takes a lot of practice, but once you learn to control your body with your mind, it can be very useful!
