All Natural Pain Relief - 10 Ways To Relieve Muscle Pain
As I've mentioned before, I tend to have a lot of pain and muscle aches from dancing and working all day. I have a couple tricks I use to pull out those muscle cramps that I want to share with you!
I'm a big fan of all natural rather than Big Pharma. Here are some all natural ways to release muscle pain! Please note there are lots of different kinds of pain, and all these tips are specifically for sore and cramping muscles.
Don't underestimate the power of blood flow. If you're sore or tight after yesterday's workout, my first piece of advice will always be to put on a pair of warm sweatpants and a hoodie, and do some cardio until you're soaking wet.
Get blood to the muscles and breathe! Yes it'll suck for the first 15-20 minutes but once you get warm it'll feel great. Once you get oxygen to your muscles they'll heal faster.

-Get in the tub while it's still filling up and turn it up as high as you can stand. I recommend covering the drain so you can fill the tub higher.
-Put peppermint oil in the bath so your skin stays feeling cool. This will allow you to stay in the bath longer, because you won't feel overheated.
-Make sure you don't stay in too long, because you can get heat sick. You can also put Rosemary oil in the bath, and that also helps with muscle cramps!
-When you're done, drink a full glass (8-16 oz) of water and put on some warm PJ pants and sweat shirt, and go to bed. Keep your muscles warm by sleeping in the warm PJs.
- Understand why they're cramped up, and what you did to make them sore.
- Understand and visualize which muscle is sore and what position it is currently in
-Visualize the muscle releasing back to the shape and position you want it to sit in.
Visualization takes a lot of practice, but once you learn to control your body with your mind, it can be very useful!
Arnica Gel comes from the Arnica plant, and it reduces swelling, inflammation, muscle soreness, and bruising. I used it on a bruise once and my bruise was gone in less than a day. It absorbs quickly and leaves no grease or residue on the skin!
Hope this helps! What are your favorite ways to stop sore muscles?
